OMG Obama is going to turn our kids socialist with his words! Turns out, not at all. Obama’s speech to the students of Wakefield High School in Arlington County was televised on C-SPAN today and most students in America watched. He spoke of staying in school and doing your best and just the basic thing any students is told to do in school, but this time the president is saying it. Conservatives just had a field day with this thinking that Obama would spread the wrong kind of message to their kids. But the speech has come and gone and there aren’t a bunch of newly brainwashed socialist running around, so yeah crisis averted i guess.

The young inventor has replaced the expensive silicon conductors in solar panels with human hair. What Karki made isn’t anything more than a science fair project that can produce about 9V of electricity, but researchers could take this idea further and make cheaper solar panels to provide electricity to poor third world countries. So yeah give a kid a medal or something.
